 Greetingz music loverz...Can I start by just saying how thankfull I am to everyone who has listened to my tunez over the last few weekz...I uploaded 5 and they all touched down at the number one spot, which was both a suprise and also a buzz! Thanks also to Sammy Gold, "The man with the golden voice"...Sammy voiced the "Pass The Dub" Riddim...my version of the Mighty Diamonds classic Kutchie riddim...Sammy voiced it and called it "Its a crime to be poor". Big up Mr.Gold sah!If anyone else want to voice a riddim...please message me. I live in Shepherds Bush which seems to be a magnet for reggaes supa starz...Bob Marley lived here for a short while, and I keep seeing various big names in the market. I'll drop a few namez for ya...Clang...Rico Rodriguez...Clang...Drummie Zeb...Clang-g-g-g Shaggy...Clang-g-g-g...The Congos...KERLANG_G_G_GJimmy Cliff!!!! Well, there ya go...just thought youd like to share that...I always say hello to Rico who is an extremely lovely and charming man. A devout Rasta, he is someone I have bumped in to on many many occasions over the last 20 years, and he has always had the time for a chat. I met him in west London Magistrates Court, the very first time...both of us getting fined for posession of ganja! Also, up in Liverpool at the Adelphi Hotel, I was working with Shane MacGowan , Rico was with Jules Holland and it was on Jules Hollands Later show that we met next! Im about due for another meet with Rico...who, by the way, has gott be the most beautiful Trombonist alive. I love his records...Man From Warika is a special album...there is also a white label of Warika Dub...Im not sure if it was ever released, but I have a friend who's found one...and its fantastic. Well, thats enough name dropping for one blog...till next time, keep dubbing!
