I'm a Dub/Dubtep DJ living in the UK, I spend my time between Selsey on the south coast and Bristol. I've been DJing since I was around 16/17 and started spinning Hip Hop at local venues, mates parties etc. Eventually I got put off by the whole 'Gangsta' image and to be honest it ruined Hip Hop for me, I began to look elsewhere for inspiration and was taken to Notting Hill carnival by an ex girlfriend and her older brother, this is where I first experienced the sound system culture, I was surrounded by people from different cultures, backgrounds and all walks of life but everyone was getting along and just there to enjoy the music. Since then Dub has become an obsession of mine, I spend most my time in record shops, behind my turntables or in-front of someone else's. Currently I am playing for www.ukreggaeguide.co.uk and we are playing at a few events this year starting off in June in Spain, I also play on the radio twice a week with a selection of Dub/Dubstep, please check my blog for more details on when and how to hear me.
