Artist Statement
Jahmings Maccow has branched out from Catch-a-fire and The Enforcers bands to become more of a Rhythm & Blues Rock Guitar Player and a more polished Songwriter.

Bio
Three top New York City Reggae Bands emerge from a band called Rhythm Dimension in 1981, CATCH-A-FIRE was one of them the other two bands were MONYAKA and A-ETHIOPIAN BAND. In the winter of 1980 a group of youthful top notch Reggae Musicians came together at this address in Brooklyn: 710 6th Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. And put together a Band called Rhythm Dimension. The band did mostly backing up top Reggae Artists coming in from Jamaica, but did work on some original tunes written by: Jahmings Maccow on the "Angel Sounds Label" before they split up in 1981 to compete with each other for the top Reggae Band in New York City. The band consisted of; Jahmings Maccow: (Vocals & Rhythm Guitar) Paul Henton: (Keyboards), Red Fox: (Keyboards & Background Vocals), Cliff O'donoghue: (Bass & Background Vocals) and Fabian Cooke: (Drums). CATCH-AFIRE played on the same stage with "MICHIGAN & SMILEY", "LOVE JOYS", "MOJANYA" and many more groups. Open for major acts like: Ken Boothe, The Mighty Diamonds, Alton Ellis, The Meditations, Israel Vibration, Dennis Brown, Culture and the list goes on. This Reggae Band was one of the top Reggae Bands in New York City in the 80's.


THE ENFORCERS 1984 Jahmings put together a Band called **"THE ENFORCERS" who did mostly Studio work for Bullwackies Recording Artists like "MAX REMEO" and "SUGAR MINOTT". This was the same time period Jahmings ran into Singers Sonia Abel and Claudette Brown, of the "LOVE JOYS", "LEROY SIBBLES" and "HOPETON LEWIS", who invited him down to his Recording Studio in Montego Bay, Jamaica to do some Recording. ***"JAHMINGS MACCOW****"
