The vibe is there but the style scott loop is out of sync by the 5th bar around. I can tell its an 8 bar loop because it always falls off through the 5-8 bars and then falls back on track on the one again. I have these same samples. Lots of good on those tracks. :)

Haha! Nice touch with the jungle sounds. :D Its wild hearing all the different versions and different approaches to the track. Great job with this one. definitly did something original. :) Need to take a second listen :) Great work man. Big up!
Added to the visions riddim station with the rest of the submissions :)
Great mix....powerful but "clean" ya know? Nice likkle perc breakdown which makes it even more powerful when the bass drops back in. Nice one.
By the way , are you the same Manwell T from back in the rec.music.reggae days?
Anyway , great track.

Cool mix...putting up tunes for remixing was a good idea :)
Alionsonny...not counting the intro of the original (the best intro ever to a song, which is why I made all efforts to avoid it), this bassline is ESSENTIALLY the same except for some (in my opinion) minor variations on the same "theme". I mean, when you hear my amateur version I think it's pretty hard to mistake it for, let's say, "king tubby meets rockers uptown", "away with the bad" or any other famous bassline, right? :)
Please note that while I love the Lee Perry original, I have not tried to copy the tune's Upsetter vibe - I am treating this like all the other mixes I do, that is, in this case, as a Juno Gad Allstars tune mixed my way!
