Irie!!!

Born in 1977 in South Italy and grown up with blues, jazz and funk, my first musical experiences took place during the “posse” age. It’s early 90s and rap, raggamuffin and reggae are contaminated by social and politic lyrics. A deep innovation trend in the Italian way of doing music is in the air, and the samplers succeed in keeping the right flow for first jam experiments. I begun arranging instrumental hip-hop funk sounds on Amiga’s 8 bits, and then passed to more evolutes sound systems. Despite my passion for rap energy, I never gave up my love and belonging to reggae yards (at age 13 I sang Bob Marley) and in a sort of musical “Repatriation” I begun producing that island sound. Nowadays I principally play reggae, with roots and dub derivations.
My first mission, as Reggae Ambassador, is to diffuse my music and to share my riddim and their vibes to someone with a project to be carried out.
