i agree with dubrise ,i would put it in thr roots section,or maybe a new genre concious dancehall.i could of mastered it better ,but not bad as a demo version.

more of a roots song than dancehall to me,cool riddim.simple and sparse.could imagine grace jones singing this in her sly/robbie period.

meaty beaty,big and bouncy.small crit,as much as i love young toms playing and guitars in general,im not a fan of long guitar solos in reggae,gives it too much of a rockist vibe in my opinion.like the keys,remind me a little of johnny redlocks.

This sounds great!! That's what happens when you have real talent inna room together makin vibes :) As for not playing together, funny thing is, you have all heard each other before, so probably that alone helped meld it all together, but it's amazing how solid this sounds and what a pure roots sound it is.
